At St James School, volunteers play an integral role in the success of our school. There are many opportunities for involvement and volunteering your time and talents are vital to the operation of our school. We encourage you to be involved!
The Diocese of Pittsburgh’s Safe Environment Policy is a program designed to create a safe environment for children throughout the diocese and here at St. James School. It is a means to insure that our school not only fulfills the mandate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops as outlined in the Charter of the Protection of Children and Young People but also meet the requirements of state and federal law.
Our principal, Susan Capozzolo, along with our pastor, Father Brian Noel and the entire parish/school administration greatly appreciate your commitment to helping our school and parish. Your efforts in complying with all facets of the Safe Environment Policy help to ensure that our school and all of its respective programs are truly safe environments for all of our children. You must complete all requirements of the policy prior to volunteering. Please click on the image to the left and select “School Volunteer” and complete all six steps listed as provided by the diocesan website.
