At St James, we believe that our Catholic faith and values belong at the heart of each student's educational experience. While focusing on preparing our students academically for high school and college, weaving faith and traditional values throughout our students' daily classes and extracurricular experiences builds a strong foundation of faith that they can carry with them throughout the rest of their lives.
Students at St. James attend Mass together weekly and have daily and monthly opportunties for group prayer. Students are invited to spend time in Eucharistic adoration throughout the year and pray the Stations of the Cross as a community throughout Lent. Through our "Buddy Program", younger students are matched with an older buddy who encourages them in prayer, builds them up through planned activities, and serves as a role model.
Our students are also encouraged to put their faith into action by taking part in service projects that make a difference in local and international communities. Student groups and classes sponsor numerous charitable intitiatives throughout the year to help those in need.
